New Toy/Tech Info

Well I have seen the future and it looks nice. Panasonic has made a new little robot that is going to try and complete the triathlon. Just google  panasonic mini robot triathlon and check out this thing go. I am still trying to toget my robot indorsed by someone so I can get a jump start. I also wanted to mention that I saw a web site talking about things every one should want to know. If you have a window pop up on your computer and it says that it is scanning for a virus,guess what it is spyware and you should not continue. You can press alt+f4 or just close the window with the X in the top left hand corner. You should be watchful of any program that tries to just take over your computer. I will start to add helpful tips for people to ponder on.

Moral Support

After graduating from Heald college I have been seeking employment. In these times work is hard to come by, but I keep looking for the best position for me. I recently have been seeking work at Intel. I went to my third interview in a different division and I will keep going till I get a job. I did get a job offer with another company, but the higher manager put a freeze on employment. Times are really rough and for those that think you can't do it - think again. I have been surviving this recession with no job for one year and raising four kids. I think I can and there for I will get it done. If one day the powers to be are willing then I will become blessed with finance. Microsoft Certified

This is an update on my Microsoft class I am now Microsoft Certified as a OSS. next challenge is to work on my other certs. This accomplish has been met, it was possible with the help of The Greater Sacramento Urban League GSUL. The study was good and the time spent added up to make me a proffesional by Microsoft standards. Any that I have reached out to and they have assisted me thank you (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE). I will keep reaching for the prize. I would like to add that Heald College gave me a Dream Award for my hard work and I really will keep living up to the dream. 

Protection

After reading an article it only makes since to follow the trend. microsoft has security essentials, Toshiba has a new hard drive that will stop wrong host intrusion. Intel bought McAfee and it will be used in their chips. The goal to intrusion from unwanted host is protection. If you provide software you should provide a virus protection service. Microsoft Outlook email can be easily over ran by intruders, what if email traveled within a virus signature that checks or leaves behind a trail showing were it has been or making sure were it is going to be delivered.

Ready Set Go

Going into engineering field and robotics are vastly making an impression. I visited a competition held by www.Platt.com, they allow college kids to compete with robots. In the orient robots are so popular that they announced that every home will have robot by 2015. America is on the top of the pile with development, but last when it comes to robotic technology. I have seen the rise of robotics in college and competitions. There are many things that robots can be used for. Engineering is one way to get into robotics the other is you can take it up as a hobbie. I have a little model robot that I puchased as a hobbie. Soon it will be posted on my page.
